Who we are
Swaddly is made by Steve Hogdahl, Annandale, VA (“we”). These terms are an agreement between you and us about using the Swaddly app and this website. By using Swaddly, you agree to them.
Questions about these terms: support@swaddly.app.
Not medical advice
Swaddly helps you keep a record of feeds, diapers, pumping and baths. It isn’t a medical device and doesn’t give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to your baby’s doctor about feeding, growth and health, and call emergency services in an emergency.
Feeding reminders depend on your phone: its notification settings, Focus modes, battery and connection can make a reminder late or keep it from showing. Don’t rely on them alone.
Your account and household
You sign in with your email address and a code we email you. Keep access to that email address safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
Everyone in a household can see and change its shared log and settings. Only invite people you trust with your baby’s log; you’re responsible for who you invite.
You can leave a household or delete your account at any time in the app. What happens to your data is explained in the privacy policy.
Purchases
Accounts made before January 1, 2027 are free for good.
Newer accounts get 7 days free, then a one-time purchase that unlocks Swaddly for that account. There’s no subscription. Each parent unlocks it on their own account.
If you don’t buy it, your log so far stays there to look at, but you can’t add or change entries or settings, reminders stop, and new entries from others in your household don’t appear.
Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and follow their terms, including their refund rules. We don’t see or store your payment details.
If you use Swaddly on an iPhone or iPad, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If it conflicts with these terms, Apple’s agreement wins for the app you got from the App Store.
Using Swaddly fairly
Don’t misuse Swaddly: no trying to get into other people’s households or accounts, overloading or interfering with our servers, copying or reselling the app, or using it to harass anyone. We can suspend accounts that do.
Your content
The log your household enters is yours. You give us permission to store and sync it only so we can run Swaddly for you, as the privacy policy describes.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Swaddly running and your log safe, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Steve Hogdahl isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Swaddly. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Swaddly in the 12 months before the claim, or $5, whichever is more.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Virginia, United States, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies. Keeping on using Swaddly after that means you accept the new terms.
